Dear Wharton Alumni and Friends,
We are pleased to invite you to attend the first-ever Wharton Global Alumni Forum to be held in Ho Chi Minh City on May 30-31, 2008.
The theme for the Forum is “Vietnam – Star on the Rise”, and we can assure you that this theme is highly relevant to the excitement and economic growth that can be felt all over Vietnam today. What you have read about in the international press is largely on-target. Vietnam is undergoing rapid change accompanied by an increasingly receptive business environment. If you have been curious about doing business in Vietnam, the Forum will be a perfect opportunity to learn more from the people who are bringing about this change as well as the early investors who are already reaping the rewards.
The Forum will include Keynote Speeches, Panel Discussions and plenty of time for networking. We will also continue the successful practice of last year’s Forum, and schedule Master Classes taught by some of Wharton’s finest professors. We anticipate that Wharton alumni from all over the world will attend this Forum, and I know that you will have many opportunities both to renew and initiate new personal and professional relationships.
All the Forum meetings will take place at the Sheraton Saigon. The Gala Banquet on Saturday evening will take place at The Reunification Palace, and will be an experience not to be missed. Elsewhere on this website you can learn about post-Forum tourism that is being arranged in Vietnam. All Wharton Global Alumni Forums are family-friendly; bring your family and enjoy traditional Vietnamese hospitality!
All the members of the Organizing Committee look forward to welcoming you to Ho Chi Minh City. We hope that you can join us on May 30-31, and we look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Dam Bich Thuy, WG’96
